Twice the Light, Inc. has been an Energy Trust trade ally contractor for more than four years, assisting commercial, industrial and retail customers in the Portland metro area with installation of energy-efficient lighting, lamps and controls. Founded in 2008 in Vancouver, Wash., the lighting distributor, manufacturer and electrical contractor has a staff of 17 and more than 28 years of combined experience in lighting design, installation and project management.

Twice the Light recently completed an LED technology retrofit project at a car lot in Milwaukie, upgrading all lighting to 180 watt LED flood fixtures. The new lighting is expected to save the customer 85 percent on current energy costs. “The dramatic increase in the amount and quality of light was amazing,” said Lisa Littleton, co-owner, Twice the Light. “Energy Trust’s incentive programs are extremely important so that lighting improvements are financially feasible in today’s business climate.”

Littleton sees being part of Energy Trust’s Trade Ally Network as a great benefit for her business. “Energy Trust of Oregon is very active and accessible to our staff for training and education,” said Littleton. “The greatest benefit is their help in our sales success by providing not only the cash incentive to the customer, but also independent proposal data tools so the customer can evaluate the cost and return on their investment.”
