Oregon Solar + Storage Rebate Program reopens June 15

Oregon residents once again have a chance to get up to $5,000 for solar and up to $2,500 for battery storage through the Oregon Solar + Storage Rebate Program, with reservations temporarily reopening on June 15, 2026. Homeowners with low- to moderate-incomes can receive rebates worth up to 60% of the cost of a system.

These rebates can be combined with Energy Trust cash incentives for solar and battery storage.

But to get in on the money, you will need to act right away. The Oregon Department of Energy program has $1.1 million available for this new pool of rebates, and it’s anticipated that funding will go quickly.

To increase your chances of receiving a rebate, request a free analysis and bid right away through the Energy Trust website. We will match you with qualified solar trade allies in your area based on your interests. (Tip: To qualify for the state rebate, contractors must also be approved by the Oregon Department of Energy; you can see a list on their website.)

Solar: a smart investment
Even if you miss out on this round of rebates, it’s still a good time to go solar — especially with rising energy prices.

Clean solar power is a smart home investment that puts you in control of your energy, saves on bills and can pay for itself in as little as 10 years. Energy Trust cash incentives for solar and battery storage reduce out-of-pocket costs. Plus, select Energy Trust trade allies can connect you with flexible Smart-E solar financing that makes it easier to fit solar into your budget.
