Griffin Heating of Central Oregon is a service, repair and retrofit company specializing in commercial and residential heating, ventilation and air conditioning, as well as commercial refrigeration.  Zeb Griffin, general manager, the 27-year-old company of eight employees joined Energy Trust’s Trade Ally Network as an Existing Buildings trade ally because “the incentive programs assist us in helping our clients save energy and money. We try to do our part to lower energy consumption and therefore lower the effects on the environment.”

The company completes roughly 30-40 Energy Trust projects per year, with a team consisting of factory trained and certified HVAC-Refrigeration technicians with over 90 years of combined experience in the HVAC and refrigeration industry. Griffin said Griffin Heating has completed tune-ups on more than 100 units in Central Oregon so far, saving over 240,000 kilowatt hours of electricity per year and reducing utility bills by approximately $55,000 annually. “Energy Trust incentives are very helpful in grabbing our clients’ attention so that we can then educate them about the importance of energy conservation as a whole,” said Griffin.
