Northwest Oregon customers saved $223,000 in 2013

In 2013, Energy Trust of Oregon helped Pacific Power and NW Natural customers in Northwest Oregon save $223,000 on their utility bills at 1,120 locations. Residential, business, industrial and agricultural customers made energy-efficient improvements and generated renewable power with assistance from 41 local trade ally contractors.

With energy improvements ranging from home weatherization and solar electric systems to high-efficiency commercial lighting and efficient manufacturing processes, Northwest Oregon customers saved and generated enough electricity to power 700 homes for a year and saved enough natural gas to heat 130 homes for a year.
