
Energy Trust has launched its fifth round of Working Together Grants with $100,000 in funding available for 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations. Applications are due August 15, 2025 at 5 p.m., and awards will be announced in September.
Grants provide two levels of funding, up to $5,000 and up to $10,000, to organizations as they help their communities learn about energy and energy saving actions or develop staff capacity in this area.

Examples of grant funding requests may include, but are not limited to:
- Activities to increase community and customer awareness of clean energy solutions and offers
- Activities to spur customer participation in Energy Trust’s energy efficiency and renewable energy offers
- Support for organizations needing additional capacity to connect customers to clean energy solutions and offers
To be eligible, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be registered as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit entity in Oregon or Washington
- Propose activities in Energy Trust service area and directly or indirectly benefit utility customers of Portland General Electric, Pacific Power, NW Natural, Cascade Natural Gas or Avista
- Propose activities that benefit priority customer groups: communities of color, customers with low incomes or rural communities
