Southern Oregon customers saved $2.4 million in 2013

In 2013, Energy Trust of Oregon helped Pacific Power and NW Natural customers in Southern Oregon save $2.4 million on their utility bills at 8,680 locations. Residential, business, industrial and agricultural customers made energy-efficient improvements and generated renewable power with assistance from 105 local trade ally contractors.

With energy improvements ranging from home weatherization and solar electric systems to high-efficiency commercial lighting and efficient manufacturing processes, Southern Oregon customers saved and generated enough electricity to power 2,700 homes for a year and saved enough natural gas to heat 110 homes for a year.
