In 2013, Energy Trust of Oregon helped Portland General Electric, Pacific Power and NW Natural customers in the Willamette Valley save $6.2 million on their utility bills at 13,140 locations. Residential, business, industrial and agricultural customers made energy-efficient improvements and generated renewable power with assistance from 196 local trade ally contractors.

With energy improvements ranging from home weatherization and solar electric systems to high-efficiency commercial lighting and efficient manufacturing processes, Willamette Valley customers saved and generated enough electricity to power 7,900 homes for a year and saved enough natural gas to heat 2,000 homes for a year.
