The energy-efficiency and renewable energy investments customers installed at nearly 120,000 locations last year brought them immediate and continuous energy and utility bill savings. Those dollars saved delivered far-reaching benefits to Oregon’s economy as households and businesses were able to purchase new goods and services, add and sustain jobs and increase wages and business income. An independent study conducted by ECONorthwest details the economic benefits of Energy Trust’s investments in energy efficiency and renewable energy. In 2012, Energy Trust’s economic impacts* added $230 million to Oregon’s economy, including:

• $64 million in wages
• $19 million in small business income
• 1,370 full-time jobs lasting the year
