Energy Trust of Oregon has released its 2025 annual report, highlighting progress toward a vision of affordable energy efficiency and renewable energy — and all the benefits that come with it — for people and communities across Oregon.

In 2025, Energy Trust achieved its energy savings and generation goals by helping customers make cost-saving investments that reduce energy use, improve comfort and reliability, and help people and communities be better prepared for outages and extreme weather.

With the support of community partners and local trade allies, Energy Trust delivered $169 million in incentives to make projects more affordable, including $10.4 million for priority customers delivered through its Community Partner Funding offer. Energy Trust support helped households and communities across Oregon manage energy use, lower utility bills and keep more money in local communities, saving more than $1 billion on current and future utility bills over the lifetime of the projects installed in 2025.

Since 2002, Energy Trust has supported 856,000 businesses, customers and communities in reaping the benefits of energy efficiency and renewable energy, saving them $9.5 billion on utility bills. This equates to saving and generating 1,246 average megawatts of electricity and saving 115 million annual therms of natural gas. Those investments add up to 48.7 million metric tons of carbon dioxide equivalent avoided, resulting in cleaner air and supporting Oregon’s climate goals.

Whether it’s increasing access to clean energy and resilience for families, supporting Tribal businesses with free lighting upgrades or building the clean energy workforce while reducing energy burden, Energy Trust’s annual report is full of stories that illustrate how its work helps strengthen communities and bring equitable benefits to Oregonians.

In addition to this newly released report, Energy Trust provides a more detailed annual report to the Oregon Public Utility Commission and board of directors on the organization’s activities, energy savings, renewable energy generation and financials.
