Polk CDC, a nonprofit housing agency based in Dallas, Oregon, made energy-efficient upgrades at four of their properties delivering estimated savings of $14,700 annually. They worked with Energy Trust of Oregon to identify and implement lighting and refrigerator upgrades, as well as heating and cooling improvements, that would reduce utility bills for residents. Due to the nonprofit’s thin operating budget, the upgrades would not have been possible without the $40,500 in cash incentives received from Energy Trust. Watch their full story here.
