2026 Existing Buildings incentive updates

2026 is bringing new opportunities for businesses across Oregon and Southwest Washington. With incentive updates and program adjustments for the year ahead, businesses can explore ways to lower operating costs, improve equipment performance and plan upgrades that pay back over time.

For more than two decades, Energy Trust of Oregon has helped businesses meet energy use goals by providing cash incentives and technical expertise to a wide range of industries. In 2026, Energy Trust is introducing updated offerings, including new incentives and adjustments to existing incentives, to help support continued progress in the years ahead.

New equipment incentives
Starting this year, commercial properties can take advantage of the following new incentives to save on qualifying equipment upgrades:
