Eastern Oregon customers saved $505,000 in 2013

In 2013, Energy Trust of Oregon helped Pacific Power and Cascade Natural Gas customers in Eastern Oregon save $505,000 on their utility bills at 688 locations. Residential, business, industrial and agricultural customers made energy-efficient improvements and generated renewable power with assistance from 45 local trade ally contractors.

With energy improvements ranging from home weatherization and solar electric systems to high-efficiency commercial lighting and efficient manufacturing processes, Eastern Oregon customers saved and generated enough electricity to power 640 homes for a year and saved enough natural gas to heat 70 homes for a year.
